Robert Applebaum, director of the Ohio Long-term Care Research project, Ian ‘Matt’ Nelson, research scholar, and John Bowblis, research fellow, in the Scripps Gerontology Center, received $457,916 from the Ohio Department of Aging for a project entitled "Providing Information for Improving Long Term Services in Ohio."
Applebaum, Nelson, and Heather Menne, fellow, in the Scripps Gerontology Center, received $202,946 from Ohio State University, pass-through funds from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the Ohio Department of Medicaid, for a project entitled "A Study of Home Care Agencies and Workforce in Ohio." Applebaum also received $54,250 from the Educational Foundation of Ohio Health Care Association for a project entitled "Research on Nursing Home Funding in Ohio."

Patrick Haney, professor and director of the Center for Public Management and Regional Affairs, and Sarah Larson, associate professor of Political Science, received $150,000 from the Ohio Department of Higher Education for a project entitled "Support for the Center for Public Management and Regional Affairs at Miami University."
Elizabeth Kiel Luebbe, associate professor, and Aaron Luebbe, professor, of Psychology and affiliated with the Center for Human Development, Learning and Technology, received $146,500 from the National Institute of Child Health & Human Development for a project entitled "From Toddler to Early Adolescent Emotion Regulation Strategies."
Lori Libby, senior project manager for Ohio Public Works in the Institute for the Environment and Sustainability, received $65,000 from the Ohio Public Works Commission for the project "District #10 Administrative Cost Program—Ohio Public Works Commission." Libby also received $15,000 from the Ohio Public Works Commission for the project "District #10 Administrative Cost Program - NRAC Revitalization."
