the Board of Trustees

Board of Trustees

Miami University Board of Trustees has a vital role in assisting the university in achieving its goal to provide a first-rate education to its students. Ohio's governor appoints nine Trustees to serve as stewards of Miami's mission, resources, and reputation, along with two non-voting Student Trustees; they are joined by up to six distinguished alumni who serve as National Trustees. The board members are a governing body that works collectively and through their committee appointments to promote the university's best interests.
