We understand the vital role parents play in the college experience, and we want to partner with you to ensure your student's success at Miami. In addition to communicating your needs and concerns to University administration, we are here to educate you about student development and appropriate ways to help your college student become an independent and involved citizen.
As the Assistant to the Vice President for Parent Programs, I coordinate the work of the Parents Office with the help of Betsey Dietrich, Program Associate (in the Division of Student Affairs). Betsey and I work to produce the parents newsletters, coordinate the work of the Parents Council, and administer the Parents Fund. - Mark your calendar now for Family Weekend 2013! A full schedule of events is planned for October 4–6, including Saturday's football game against Central Michigan. Further details will be posted as they become available.
