Miami mourns death of student

The Dublin Police Department has just notified Miami University that one of our students, Anish Rajan Rajaram, was found dead recently in his Dublin, Ohio home, alongside his mother and father, Jan. 18. Anish was a sophomore in the Farmer School of Business, and an active member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity and Pi Sigma Epsilon.

We are devastated by this loss of life. Our hearts go out to Anish’s family, friends, and all who knew him.

We encourage any students who need support during this difficult time to contact these resources: Student Counseling Services, 195 Health Services Center, 513-529-4634, or the Dean of Students office, 110 Warfield Hall, 513-529-1877. Additionally, the H.O.P.E. (Help Over the Phone Everywhere) line, 855-249-5649, is available 24/7 for students to call for immediate support, crisis intervention, and stabilization from a crisis support specialist.

We will post additional details about services, an obituary, and/or memorial when that information is shared with us.
